Last Week we had the annual scout AGM at Echo Point just south of Pambula. We had a BBQ dinner and swam in the water. We also played in the canoes. For pictures of the AGM please go to the 1st Merimbula website here.

Last Weekend we went on a Skirmish camp at Noonameena Scout Camp just south of Merimbula. We played a game that involved 3 teams fighting, 1 medic and 1 team doing an activity. The 3 teams had different coloured food dye and were playing a bigger version of capture the flag, trying to get the other teams flag without getting shot. If you were shot you had to shout for a medic and wait for them to come running. To add another little twist Venturers were invited and they could hand out random injury cards. 1st Merimbula wasn't the only troop there. There was also 1st Cobargo, 1st Bega, 1st Eden, 1st Bodalla and 1st Batemans Bay. It was a great weekend and we'e looking forward to the next one.

On Monday the 14th of February we played Chalk Chase and Street Monopoly. It was a fun night.
